1. Team
Our investment thesis is focused on founder-driven companies that need to transition to the next stage of growth.
Throughout our experiences, we’ve been through the challenges of founder succession and management team development. We help bring in the support founders need by building their leadership team and board.
2. Intermediate
We have worked globally in businesses across a wide range of industries.
We value people and our relationships. And we draw on the expertise and reach of our networks, including ex-CEOs and executives who are knowledgeable in navigating the complexities of growth. They join as co-investors to share in the growth journey.
3. Investment Focus
Our focus is on supporting businesses that are generating at least $15 million in revenue and $5 million in EBITDA per annum, with strong growth prospects.
Our goal is to provide a clear pathway to 3x returns and liquidity for our partners and investors.
4. Investment Size
Our equity investment size ranges from $20m to $30m.
We are focused on providing flexible capital based on what the business needs. Unlike traditional private equity, we don’t take a controlling position but invest up to 50% in equity to align with our partnership value model. We can provide access to various forms of funding and structures to grow your business.
5. Types of Business
We are sector agnostic and invest across a broad range of businesses, excluding high-tech, resources, and real-estate.
We focus on businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
6. Business Transition
We have helped many families and founders transition their business and provide liquidity for family members who wish to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
We assist our businesses in preparing for a liquidity event by addressing founder succession, management team longevity, corporate governance (including an effective Board), reporting processes, risk management, ESG, and warming up future potential acquirers.
